Blix Blix Blix...where is your head?

#1 Postby southerngale » Fri Mar 14, 2003 1:50 pm

Are you kidding me???? And this clown holds our future in his hands????

Norris: Speaking of multilateralism, do you notice, as many have suggested, that there's an increasing unilateralist bent in the United States government?

Blix: Yeah. On big issues like war in Iraq, but in many other issues they simply must be multilateral. There's no other way around. You have the instances like the global warming convention, the Kyoto protocol, when the U.S. went its own way. I regret it. To me the question of the environment is more ominous than that of peace and war. We will have regional conflicts and use of force, but world conflicts I do not believe will happen any longer. But the environment, that is a creeping danger. I'm more worried about global warming than I am of any major military conflict.

Sorry Rainstorm but that is just BS! You must have gone to the same overstatement school as Derek. You two make rash statements without any shred of evidence to support your opinions.

I personally don't know what to think of Mr. Blix after that little thing where he hid the fact that Iraq held anthrax vials in the drouds. As for our country and Administration, I still have some faith left that we are doing the right thing. Only thing I wish is that we would have done it long ago an that we did not have as many coals in our fire as we do now.....ei...North Korea, Afganistan etc all at once. I don't feel confortable with this and feel the U.S. is really biting off an awful lot here.

Hans Blix is and always will be a clown, one not to be taken seriously.

Also, I think I know where his head is

Blix needs a tractor to get his head out of where it's at!

If Blix thinks global warming is more of an issue than Iraq, we're in quicksand. And his first priority should be Iraq - that's why he was hired. At this point no one should care what he thinks is important beyond this main mission - which is not really being accomplished very well.
