Wait until my daughters hear the outcome of this story. They both worried about this girl!!! As I did too. It would take a lot for me really want to throttle my kids, but this poor girl seems to be crying out for attention.
Here's another angle that did cross my mind as I watched the parent's plea for her return. The mother seemed too composed, she had lipstick on, make up, hair fixed. I'm sorry, but if my kid was missing would I take the time to get all dolled up? No way!!! And I'd be a blubbering mess, barely able to speak on camera. So now I'm thinking terrible thoughts about this mother, maybe she's a cold one and the girl just wanted her mother's/parent's attention? Who the hecks knows.....as Shawn said people do bizarre things or however well you put it Shawn.

Seems to me I recalling reading/hearing somewhere that this girl was tops in her high school class, active in high school activities, and well liked by all her peers. I still haven't heard the news conference that was held but you have to feel bad for this girl - she obviously needs some help. I guess no matter how high your "intellect" is, sometimes common sense is missing.

Breaking news--big change...
I told my mom a couple of days ago that I smelled a rat. None of her story added up to me. I wonder if the stress of college was too much for her.

Madison (Wis.) Police Department spokesperson Larry Kamholz, left, holds up items including duct tape, rope and a knife at a news conference Friday, April 2, 2004, in Madison, as examples of items college student Audrey Seiler told police her abductor used against her. Assistant Police Chief Noble Wray, at podium right, said police obtained videotape of Seiler buying some of those items at a local store weeks earlier, that there was evidence she planned her disappearance, and that police don't believe there is an abductor at large.
