Hot off the presses:Bush has made a decision to go to war

#1 Postby cycloneye » Wed Mar 05, 2003 7:36 pm

http://www.drudgereport.com/bush.htm

But no D-Day is yet decided but he has made the big decision to go to war against Iraq.

With over 250,000 troops in that theater and more going there I think that it was getting very much traffic of pieces of equipment in Kuwait but with the decision made to go to war all over there know that in the comming days they will embark in military operations.

Bush will have a speech to the nation next week but the exact day still is not known.

Now let's pray that all will be fine for those men and women over there.

Defeating Iraq, IMO, will be no challenge for our military in the air or on the ground. If we all go back to the Gulf War, as soon as Iraqi troops came in contact with American troops they surrendered immediately. It even came to the point that Iraqi troops were looking for American troops with the sole purpose of surrendering just so they would not starve to death.

Saddam is no match for us either. All he knows how to do is set his own oil fields on fire. The only thing our military needs to be careful of is Saddam's known use of chemical weapons. He made some of our troops sick during the Gulf War. If he is hiding them, which we know he is, then he will certainly use them.

Let's Roll!!!

Being formor military myself, my mind, spirit, soul and prayers are with each and every one of them. We may think we know what they are going through, but unless you have been there yourself, it is soooo hard to fathom the emotions that go along with the duty. The most prevalent believe it or not is the lump in your throat that is brought about by the pride that is in you for serving the greatest country in the world.

God bless each and every one of them

A friend of mine (from college) was sent to Kuwait a few weeks ago. Living near an air-force and navy base we know many others that have left. God bless them for fighting for OUR country!!!!! I pray that every one of them comes home safely!

I agree. We should pray that we have a quick victory, with as small of civilian/ soldier casualties as possible.

I just wish they had gotten dressed up for nothing!!! That is much better than the alternative we are about to embark on!!! Do not get me wrong, I do support Bush and what he is doing, I prefer no war for any reason!!!

May God's hand be on each one of our soldiers protecting their every move and keeping them out of harms way!! May God reach into the very souls of our world leaders and show them the folly of their ways and bring about PEACE ON EARTH!!

Sorry to disagree, VB, but

(A) We can't have it both ways

(B) Not in this lifetime

Remember too VB that North Korea is in the bulls eye because they are provoking the US so maybe the US will have to deal with 2 fronts at the same time.
