Leonid Meteor Shower tonight

I hear the sound of light rain falling so it's doubtful the skies will be clear enough to see anything from here. But thanks for the reminder - I'll be sure to check when i get up at 4am.

I knew that the Leonid Meteor Shower was coming. The Old Farmer's Almanac says that the predawn hours is the best time and they are radiating from the south.

No good viewing this am. Cloudy and rainy. 4th year in a the weather here has been rotten for this.

Last year's viewing of the Leonid meteors was superb for many people across the United States; it was one of the best showings in 30 to 35 years. The expectations of this great viewing has been talked about over the last few years and last year, 2002 was (apparently) the year. :)
