Book your holiday airline flights now

#1 Postby BEER980 » Sun Nov 02, 2003 7:29 pm

Airlines, still reeling under a weak economy and fears of terrorism, are limiting the number of airplanes flying in an effort to bring fares back to profitable levels. By cutting back on supply, airlines are hoping to fly with a full house during the holidays. Fox News full story here.

The rates haven't changed much since the last time I looked and they're still a bit more expensive than they were pre-9/11. (I purchased the tix before 9/11, but the flight was on 9/19.) I've flown back to KY almost every Christmas, but this year I think I'll drive since I have a full week plus the weekend bookends. :)
