I've always liked being this height (5' 3"). However my oldest daughter is almost 5' 9". She hates being that tall! Can never find pants long enough. The latest styles are for average height's so she can't even try them on, what's the point - they'll be 4 inches too short. So she's left with just a few styles with various lengths. Her good friend Caroline is very short, barely 5' so she has the opposite problem, always hemming store bought pants. So Nina says she should start a clothing store business someday and call it - Short and Tall! Forget the people in the middle (me) b/c they can always find lenghts that fit. And oh, every single one of her pants have to drip dried - which takes 2 days in the winter sometimes. I have to do her laundry all week, to keep up with it. This girl could live without a dryer....LOL I am worried about her dorm/college days but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Maybe she can just wear skirts for 4 years......she'll have to use a laundry mat. No drip drying for her then......

how old is your daughter?

5'9 is only a couple inches above normal height.
I know several girls in my school alone that are 5'9 or taller.
