Bolton Plans To Sue City; Groups Want Mayor Recalled

DALLAS, Texas -- The attorney representing fired Dallas police Chief Terrell Bolton is going forward with plans to sue.

Bolton was seeking a settlement from the city following his termination last month. His attorney says he will file a lawsuit within the next three weeks.

Meanwhile, people who blame Dallas Mayor Laura Miller for Bolton's firing are now trying to recall the mayor.

Leaders of several black churches filed necessary papers Wednesday.

Organizers now have 60 days to collect nearly 73,000 signatures to force a recall election.
