Bill - if you read this - THIS IS A FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT waiting to happen.

Do people now keep them in the rec room or family room now as a decorative piece? Just like guns, cleaning products, drugs, etc. should be stored out of harm's way from a child. DUH!!!!!

OF course, no one was happier than we here at M.I.L.T. headquarters to learn that the Tool Lobby-sponsored Home Improvement show was finally removed from the airwaves. It was bad enough that Bob Villa keeps cropping up like a bad penny, but the glorification of tool accidents and the use of unlicensed tools in a family setting was too much to bear.

Well, geez...do they want Bob to do away with power tools and just put up a Lego deck outside a Lincoln Log house?

They even bring the Bible into it under the "What does God say" link. So it's not just power tools...it's any tools?

If that website isn't a practical joke, then they are a bunch of idiots...anti-American, anti-freedom loving idiots.

I've given up waaaay too much of my freedom in the name of safety the past few years already...and NOT by my own choice. :grrr: :grrr:

HaHaHaHa
Just read the part about the lawn mower manufactures should replace the steel blades with plastic blades....what a joke, like a plastic blade going at 3000 rpm wouldn't cut off a finger. Worse yet, I can see the plastic blade hiting a rock and disintigrating, sending little pieces of deadly plastic shrapnel all over the yard and peppering the mower operator. Hey you little squirrels, better look out. Mower operator beware, if your blade breaks apart and hits an animal PETA will be all over you.

I really hope that this is a parody, if not there are more stupid people in this world than I had thought.

"It is patently clear," says Dr. Eral, "that God doesn't want tools used."

Did they forget to read the rest of the bible, Jesus was a carpenter, but I suppose he couldn't use tools either huh?

PBS should now be Blacklisted by parents!! The horror of the popular BOB THE BUILDER program that they show to pre schoolers!! IS NOTHING SAFE?
Seriously this site is a parody; although as a nurse who worked in a trauma ICU for a period of time I have some doubts about certain ADULTS with matches

I too hope this is a parody, because it is one of the most absurd things I have seen in quite a while.
