Are you a *coupon clipper*?

My wife clips and is a user thank God. I don't have the patience for it.

The first part of my Sunday paper is thrown on Sat. evening and I can't wait to rec. it. I love clipping coupons and mailing off for rebates. I am so disappointed on holiday weekends when there are no coupons to clip.
You can really save a lot using coupons, and who doesn't want to save a dollar. I know I do.

I do clip coupons. My wife & I usually save at least $5.00 each week at the grocery store. We could probably save more, but that would involve buying things that we normally don't buy. We are creatures of habit, and will always base the coupons we use on what is on our store list - as opposed to basing our store list on the coupons we have.

One thing I've learned about the effectiveness of using coupons is you have to bite the bullet now, and use coupons even if you don't necessarily need the items now. Inventory can become a problem but as long as we are financially able, we buy regardless as to whether we have an immediate need.
