If FSU holds up to it's end of the bargain, it should be tomorrow when degrees are posted online. I should get the actual paper in about 4-6 weeks.

Even with that I was only qualified to begin college at the college algebra level, classes behind my friends. I took seven straight semesters of math, still hating it to the bitter end. Even after getting through ordinary differential equations...
I think B's are pretty good, especially if its for the hard math stuff. My favorite subject is actually math and yet I'm not amazing at it and the algebra stream of it I'm flat out terrible but I think its possible for me to get the hang of it. A weak foundation is to blame for that one.
JonathanBelles wrote:It wasn't until I got into the junior/senior meteorology classes that I realized that math is no more than another language. I began to treat math differently and began to like it. Today, I am alright at math, and I somewhat like it at times. Math is truly only as bad as you make it out to be.
I've always known that, I also like the phrase "math tells a story". How long a day did it take you to complete the math related stuff because I think it really matters how long something takes you that determines how hard its perceived.

Funny you say that, a friend of mine recommended that to me last summer when taking about how hard the math is in meteorology programs. I checked it out and while its pretty good, I have a feeling that it won't complete the package for learning that type of stuff. There are more elements that need to be in place to learn it well and asking questions is needed.
JonathanBelles wrote:As far as chemistry goes, I have only taken two classes: Gen Chem I and II with lab. You will learn the necessary chemistry in climatology and the junior level meteorology classes.
Do you think the chemistry was necessary for just the bachelor's level? That would be another subject to work on

Here it is! My degree...MY degree just posted a little while ago. Just under six and a half years with this family, and I did it! I credit each and every one of you for helping me through this!

I'll answer your questions in the morning Cyclenall, but right now i'm going to go get some ice cream and go to bed! I'll post a picture of my diploma when I have it in paper form!
