No More French Fries

I had 'fries' from BK earlier today....but I simply just say I wanted an order of 'King Fries' with my Whopper! lol No French involved.....hmmm french dressing and french's mustard...rutrow!

Hmmmmm for me, that was last year lol.

And come to think of it, I think I did hear about changing sauerkraut to victory cabbage. Sort of a double meaning if you ask me: One one hand, it is showing off our patriotism. On the other hand, if you are actually able to EAT the stuff, you have won a big victory.

Let the french and germans do what they want. They're grown ups. History will tell who was right and wrong. I feel that those countries are pretty much irrelevant anyway. The french have their pride of past glories and have an inflated ego. Germany still has not gotten over over all the wars that they started and lost. They are probably afraid of war at this point. We should do what we need to do - period. I think it is important that we at least appear to consult with other world leaders and show restraint. Remember that restraint is a virtue of the powerful. We shouldn't be running off half cocked. At this time, I'd say that we have shown restraint, we have saluted the UN and if it's time to roll, then so be it.

For some reason, I've always called them 'Fries' ...
I guess our Patroitism for our country is again at an all-time high showing just how united we are after all.

In answer to how they were named
But they weren't French fries until 1918 or so. American soldiers stationed in France gobbled up fried potatoes. They dubbed them "French fries" and liked them so much they wanted to have them at home, too. Americans still love French fries. Last year alone, more than 4.5 billion pounds of them were sold in the United States.
