I was 2 1/2 years old when Herb Brooks coached the 1980 U.S. Olympic Hockey Team... so I obviously wasn't watching the Olympic hockey games with much intent, anyway. My condolences to his family.

It's a sad and tragic loss to the sports world....I'll never forget the excitement of watching the 1980 U.S. Hockey team win Gold in Lake Placid :) :)

My humble condolences to the Brooks family, his friends and fans everywhere :(

I did not watch a lot of the 1980 Olympics, but I certainly know what the team and Herb Brooks did. He was an incredible hockey coach who will be fondly remembered.
