Prayer for my friend's family

#1 Postby tropicana » Sun Aug 16, 2009 10:49 pm

One of my friends died last weekend.
He was going through a lot of turmoil in his life, a rocky short marriage led to his ex-wife taking court procedures and keeping his loving son from even seeing him, and this affected him a lot.
He was such a devoted father, and a great human being.
The last straw perhaps was 2 weeks ago when he lost his job.
He just couldn't go on in his mind, and sadly he took his own life on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at his home in Glendale, NY.

please pray for his loving family.
i made a video tribute which i've posted the link to here,
which i'm sharing with you all, my storm2k family.
thank you

What a wonderful tribute you made for your friend. I can tell he was very dear to you.

I hope you will be able to keep in touch with his son. To tell him about his father in the years to come. A dear friend of mine committed suicide 15 years ago. I stayed close with her daughters. Being there when they needed someone, loving them like they were my own daughters.

That's a nice tribute. Prayers going out to his family and to you. I really feel for his son... he's going to need extra prayers during this difficult time.

Great tribute, it gave me chills. From the pictures it sure seemed like he was a great lover of life, its sad to think that he thought this was the only way to go.
My prayers are with you, his family and friends.

I am so sorry about your friend. What a beautiful way to remember him. That really is tragic. My prayers go out to him, you and his family. :(
