That missing/murdered white woman is a Marine who was 8 and 1/2 months pregnant! Her murderer is on the loose and is another Marine. It did not come out right away either, so of course it is going to grab headlines. The media is wondering why they were not told about her until recently, when in fact she was reported missing BEFORE Christmas.
As for this, it sucks for everyone, for the kids and the wife. And I have seen coverage on it, but...which is going to get more coverage? One where the murderer is already jailed, or the one where he as vanished and the police need help to find him?
