Now that's something I agree with you about. But NK involves a whole different kind of thorny problem - China. China was the reason the Korean war came to an impasse, and a far more powerful China today is the reason no progress is made in bringing down the last full-blown Stalinist state (and full-blown kleptocracy and unbridled peddler of WMD technology to boot.)

Invading North Korea will be a real mess. They are capable of using WMDs in war. South Korea has conscription and they do not look too kindly to draft dodgers there. Anyone with Korean blood, can be drafted into the South Korean military if they stay in Korea for a certain amount of time. It has happened before. If I was to stay in Korea for at least a few months, I can be drafted because I am Korean, even though I was born in America.

I understand that Jan. However, the issue is do we take them out now or later (NK is going to have to be taken out eventually... as they likely soon will be passing on some fo their tech into the hands of someone who will use it against us).

If we wait until later to deal with NK (and maybe China), that means they are going to be arming themselves far more than they currently are. if we wait, we must fully mobilize like we did in WW2. That means few civilian goods are being produced and a full compulsary draft for far more than males from 18-26. The problem is likely much less if we deal with it now.

However, as horrific as war with NK is, that would stop this AWFUL puppet show they are putting on with Iran, Syria, and Venezuela. it is being said that we are fighting a proxy war with Iran in Iraq... war with Iran is likely just another proxy, this time with NK
