This is kinda like "The Twilight Zone", everyone was having a good time at Grapevine Lake, and suddenly, they run into jelly-like Blobs that were washed ashore, attached to trees, etc. The good news is that the blobs are harmless.

Blobs in Grapevine Lake not dangerous, officials say
By STELLA M. CHÁVEZ / The Dallas Morning News
The blobs have invaded Grapevine Lake. But they're not from outer space.
They're a normal part of nature.
These amorphous, jellylike creatures have been seen floating in the lake, attached to trees once underwater and stuck on dock pilings.
The blobs are essentially millions of tiny organisms known as zooids. Collectively, these organisms are known as bryozoans and can be found in freshwater and saltwater. They range in size from a tennis ball to a volleyball. Most are marine species.
