The Power of 10

#1 Postby Extremeweatherguy » Tue Aug 07, 2007 10:59 pm

Did anyone catch this new show? I just watched the recording and it was actually pretty good. There was even a million dollar winner on the first episode (and he was only 19)!

It was decent. I thought there were some things wrong with it but overall it was OK. The regular timeslot is Wednesday at 8(through September 12th).

I was very surprised that someone won the million on the first show.

It's one of those game shows where it's too easy to win a huge amount of money. Winning a million on the first show is not a good sign for the life of the TV show. They usually get pulled off within the 1st season or sooner which is a bit of a shame, it's not a bad one.

By chance every person wins 10 million for 10 shows in a row, do you think the show will stay on the air? Not likely .

I bet just to get on the show feels like winning the lottery. I thought the first part of the two facing off was kind of strange but fresh.

There is a bit too much talking happening and it's too easy to win 1 million. I think the whole thing is based off polls isn't the best but different. To exactly get the % for 10 million is kind of dumb luck?

I would think the odds of actually getting the million are pretty low. You only have a 10% range, plus you have to have someone actually risk the $100,000.

And will anyone ever actually go for the 10 mil? Risking a million bucks for a 1:11 chance to win 10 million?

I'm not so sure on that one, we will have to see more episodes to view how difficult it is to reach that point. The first person did get that, but it's true that doesn't automatically make it easy to get there based off the fact alone the first person reached it.

Very low chances of it happening like it's suppose to be.
