I love this stuff. But I must say I like Crocodiles a lot more. I remember one time for new years they did a whole Croc marathon for New Years!!

I watched Saturday night/Sunday morning, but didn't get to watch tonight (well last night) as husband doesn't like "shark shows". Bleheeee But I thought he would like to watch the Indianapolis but he wasn't interested. Strange, since he has the history channel or millitary channel on when ever he is home.

Every year I usually do, buuuuut since I am leaving this morning for a week to vacation at the beach I decided I shouldn't be filling my head with that. Especially since we are in the shark bite capital of the world here. :roll:

Oh man, I am so bummed!! I forgot that started this week! I really wanted to see the U.S.S. Indianapolis episode the most!! I already know the story but, I still wanted to see that one! I'm gonna' have to check the telly guide to see if they're going to show an encore presentation of that episode. They usually do with cablevision shows. I hope.

Thanks for the reminder! I swear that I'd forget my head if it wasn't attached to my neck!! :lol:

whats hark week about anyway?

do they focus on sharks themselves or the attack side of it?

I NEVER miss Shark week.. And the U.S.S. Indianapolis episode was great.. I had been dying to see it

Unless you googled it (and I did not) you just had to find out when it started. I have Dishnet with DVR (tivo) and we have all of the next few days already ready to go except for the reruns.

Since we live on a island I am always interested in these creatures especially after seeing this about 50 yards or less offshore stuck on a sandbar in about 2-3' in water. It must have been chasing baitfish in but to be honest, I have no desire to become shark bait.

The upper right in the photo os his main fin and lower left was his tail as he was trashing to get to deeper water. This was taken with a Fuji S-9000.

What a nut! The guy just rode the back of a Tiger Shark! :eek:

I mean, I know they aren't maneaters but it's not exactly a kitty cat ether.
