ST. Petersburg to host GOP debate

If this has too much politics, delete it.

I read this in the SPTimes, I was shocked. This will happen on September 17th. All of America will be able to submit questions. It will be at the Mahaffey Theater in downtown St. Pete. Gov. Charlie Christ will likely be in attendance as this is his home town. It is also noted that youtube will be used to ask questions. Using 30-second video clips, ask your questions at youtube.com/debates . This site will also be used in the Dem. debate.


I may or may not go depending on my schedule at that time.

Wow, thanks for the heads up! My daughter is scheduled to be born on 8/3, so I may just be rested up by then (wishful thinking, I know). Where is it and can the general public attend?

Mahaffey Theater, and I dont think they have said if we can yet.

A democratic debate is scheduled for here just before the SC primary.

I could probably acquire tickets if I wanted to, but I've already met three of them and don't really feel like getting dressed up to watch something I could watch on CNN.
