Tampa Bay Beachgoers: Ben T. Davis Beach is Closed

Ben T. Davis Beach is closed to a broken sewer line near Rocky Point. They have detected fecal matter in the water. This beach is near the mouth of Tampa Bay. It is unknown when the beach will reopen. No other beaches have been affected.

This happens several times a year on both ends of the Courtney Campbell. I believe last month it was on the Pinellas side.

Hopefully the beach reopens soon.. Tampa and St Pete have some beautiful beaches..
