Email problems

#1 Postby vbhoutex » Sun Jun 03, 2007 8:36 pm

When I forward emails with attached pictures the attachements are apparently stripped out of the email. People I send them too always tell me that they can't see the pictures. Is there some setting in outlook express I am not aware of that would stop this from happening? It doesn't seem to happen with my hotmail account.

I know in Outlook Express, when I use it, the spam blocker blocks out the images and you have to manually open up the attachments. Same thing for my Yahoo! account, it'll block images until you accept them. Hope that helps.

When you open the messages, there is a bar at the top to unblock the images.

IMO the best solution is to upload your pix to ImageShack or some other similar service and email just the links to intended recipients.

I use this method for all files, not just pictures. There are several FREE file storage and sharing sites on the 'Net.
