U.S. stocks rose on Friday, driving the Dow to another all-time high - 11,960.51
The S&P 500 closed at 1,365.62, a fresh 5 1/2-year high.

that's a debatable point since it's inconceivable that someone could survive a high altitude ejection...
The pressure suit was designed to work with the ejection seat so that a high altitude ejection would be possible. The U2 pilot shot down over Cuba on October 27, 1962 was not so lucky, shrapnel tore his pressurized suit and probably killed him instantly.
There are numerous contrary theories so certainly the subject is debatable.

Long term the dow has sort of been following a semi log curve. Not sure what the implications of that are.

I'm not sure there are any implications. Inflation would cause such growth.
