They've been on "America's Got Talent" and I think they're in the finals with a handful of other acts.

Warning: Don't read this if you don't want to know the trick....

Basically, it's like sleight of hand magic -- they're just really quick at what they do and they've practiced over and over and over again. They have all those outfits on at once, the lightest weight and sometimes shortest ones near the end and they're made sort of like the quick, rip-away clothes that exotic dancers wear. They are cut along the seam in the back and just stitched back together with a handful of threads here and there to hold them together and make it look like everything is "on." Then, while under the cover of the sheet, cloak, glitter, or box, they pull away the top outermost outfit and let it drop to the floor.

If you have a DVR (and want to ruin it for yourself), you can watch in slow motion at the changing points and you'll catch bits of the act a little closer and see hints of where the handywork happens. Sometimes, the partner even slides one hand subtly to the other's back to aid in the quick change rip.

Duckie, I had the part about multiple outfits being on, but the rest escaped me, until now. They do a great job of making it look so "real".

I am not so sure about the layering thing Duckie, I thought of that first off. But if you watch it again after the first outfit or 2 she goes from a skimpy short outfit to a longer dress outfit, and the rest are long from there. I just don't know how she could layer 10 outfits on on top of the other and not look as if she has on that many ecspecially in those skimpy outfits towards the beginning. I dunno but it sure gets the brain juices flowing.

I watched it again on "America's Got Talent" tonight and it's still amazing. I can't figure it out at all either. I read GalvestonDuck's text on how they do it, and I can't see it possible. If they rip off the outfits fast, they can't throw it on the floor because I watched carefully where the person was standing when the "magic" happened. I saw no trace of clothes. When that guy changed his tux on tonight's AGT, that was mind-blowing. How could he rip that off without it going on the floor?

Anyone catch the show last week where one of the judges and this fella got into somewhat of a fight?? He had suggested an entire change of their magic....no more of the "quick-change" stuff. The audience really booed him and gave this couple a nice long standing ovation!!

This last Wed., they were put thru to the finals....and that same judge was quite sarcastic to them. It's been an interesting show! ("America's Got Talent!").........p

I agree with Piers, both last week and this -- they're doing the same thing over and over. It may be incredible to some people who can't see what they're doing. But, frankly, I've been bored with it since their first performance. It's certainly not worth a million dollars, IMHO. Gotta admit, I loved their nod to the Peacock Network.

At Last is okay, but just another boy band. They'll go far, but I think someone more spectacular deserves the million.

Rappin' Granny is pretty good one possibility for the grand prize winner, though not my top favorite. She'd make an interesting host for a variety show, if they ever brought variety shows back. I liked the classic ones from the 70's like Carol Burnett, Flip Wilson, Donny and Marie, and others -- celebrity guests with skits, music, comedy. I'd like to see something like that again and contestants like Granny or Bobby Badfingers (he looks so 70's) would be good for that.

Bianca has an amazing voice and reminds me of Leann Rimes when she first hit it big -- same strong voice. I thought they overdid her looks tonight (she's young and doesn't need all that makeup), but the dress was a nice touch without being too much.

All That is incredible and I love the added marching band drum corps to their performance tonight. I've always been a fan of percussion, which is what their style of tap/clogging is -- kind of like Stomp. Worth a million? Maybe.

Passing Zone -- eh, they're entertaining and far better than many juggling acts. But not better than my favorite.

Celtic Spring has talent, but not enough. The whole individual thing took away from tonight's performance and, like David said, that took away from the synchronicity of the dance. Of course, I'm Irish and ought to have loved it, I guess. But it just wasn't my thing.

If Realis could skate, we'd have some serious gold medals in Olympic couples figure skating competitions.

I think the last acts coming up tonight are the Millers (with the brother who plays the harmonica) and that girl trio who I couldn't stand from day one and never could figure out why they made it past the auditions (their name is N-something). The Millers could win, but I'd like to see something different from them. That N-something group -- blah!

My favorite in the competition -- Taylor Ware. She sings wonderfully and yodels even better. Her voice reminded me of Marie Osmond. She has a spunky attitude, cute look, and would make a great hostess to her own show. Nothing but talent and well-worth a million bucks.
