How many here still use shoe polish?

I do....my uniform boots are "Spit polished", my civy shoes (because I VERY seldom wear my uniforms anymore) I polish.

I use a "clear buffer" type dean from Aerosoles. It shines up all my shoes!

You guys are gonna howl, but in a pinch I've used good ole vaseline. Don't laugh!

We do have a shoe shine kit and I have used it. I'm just not picky about my shoes though. I wear them out!

Not laughing, Mary! Do you know what is good for getting rid of scratches on your shoes and boots? Kitchen Jubilee :D

On my black shoes, it's good ol' Lincoln Stain Wax, ice water and an old buffing cloth, followed by cotton balls.

My other shoes (brown, suede or "rough-side out") get either mink oil or spray silicone waterproofing.

Got a shoeshine kit and Kiwi and polish the fancy work shoes for those meetings that you can catch up on your z's otherwise I don't bother. Oh, almost forgot, on clinic days, best thing for the white nurses shoes in a pinch is correction fluid, works like a charm :D

Yes, we still polish shoes... depends on the shoes what we use to polish with...

My daughter was a skater, so we spent a lot of time polishing skates as well.

Her kids polish shoes... They are musicians and need to look nice on stage, etc.
