Thats where I got all my buttons was my mother in law, she gave me a jar, some old too. OOOOhhh wood buttons would look great, with the twine, didn't even think about that. Rustic sounding, I like. Those may be expensive now, and if you buy the big jar of them I am sure they won't include more than one or two wood ones. Yea you may have to look around a while till you find what you want at the right price. Maybe on line somewhere. How many cards does that quilt hold? Good idea with the wood and twine, I would stick with it unless it costs a fortune, but this quilt may be around for a long time, so maybe worth the $$$ to do it the way you want it. Let us know. Happy button shopping. :D

Well, technically I should have made this quilt a little larger. But I can't now. I'm thinking of adding buttons in the middle of rows, just offset. Not every row, just every other row and I have 7 across, I'll just add probably 2 so that would make an extra 8? Sounds confusing I know! We did receive a few cards late but they were from out of town friends so I didn't add their cards on.

I was kinda hoping someone at our party would say I'd love one.....and I'd say.....would you like this one? LOL

Then I could start all over.......which I still could.

Thanks for the links!
