You can read more about it (i.e. how they did it, etc.) here:

Someone posted that once before a few weeks ago. :D It was great to watch again, it's totally amazing. There is another house somewhere I saw it on the news, they kept saying coming up next and showed clips, I think I fell asleep before they got to show the whole thing. Dern it. I would like to see that one as well.

I saw that house on TV this morning! From what they showed it was quite a display to say the least. Little too much of the flashing lights for my taste though. They said it was shut down because of neighbors complaining about the amount of traffic in the neighborhood. I remember when I was little how we would always go to this one neighborhood across town. They had blocks and blocks of houses with lights like you have never seen before. It was wonderful. Yeah, there was traffic but noone seemed to care. I always wondered if the people that lived in those houses went away on vacation.

Some guy in Rock Hill, MO (a suburban city west of St. Louis) did the same thing; no word on whether he's had to turn his display off.

One of the coolest houses around here was Al Copeland's(the guy who owns popeyes) Traffic for hours sometimes. He was donating all the lights to Lafienire park but they couldn't do it so he is, but it will be the last year. If I find a pic I will post!

This family lives close to the Cincinnati area. Just north of the city. They've had to turn off the lights and music, b/c of a car accident during the traffic jam the display caused. Keep trying to find the article but I can't.

It's a shame too, b/c now we've had snow and people are really in the holiday spirit!

I would have strand after strand of lights go out, if I tried something like this. In fact, I have one strand out right now and it's half of my front door and windows area with roping!

But more power to someone who can put on wonderful displays like this.

Found the local article for this story, or at least the update.
