ummm....

#1 Postby wx247 » Mon Feb 10, 2003 2:57 pm

I didn't know where to put this, so I thought I would ask in the off-topic section since most everyone frequents it.

How do I make a post that has a poll? Am I blind and cannot see it? Hmmm...I probably am. Any help would be appreciated.

The best place for this would have been in the Tips Section for future reference...

In order to create a Poll, first start a new topic. At the bottom of where you normally type for your post is a Poll Button with a place to enter your Poll optioons. You may enter up to 10 options/choices for your Poll.

Yes.

I am so slow sometimes. I have to go now. I will be back later and maybe I can figure it out then.

Thanks for the help :)

Just for the record, it's not there for me either. And I did try a New Topic. Does it matter what template you're using? I'm using subsilver. I know I couldn't see the calendar before because I was in classic.

I see the poll only below the reply field when you created a new topic. It wont show any other time for a basic reply after that. Not sure if the others affect it...templates that is...I have subsilver as well.

The poll option is available in all templates. When you create a new topic the poll option should be at the bottom of the page...You will have to click on the Poll button and then enter your Choices/questions for the poll.
