U.S. Supreme Court to hear Anna Nicole Smith Case-NBC

#1 Postby JTD » Fri Sep 30, 2005 9:24 am

NBC's today show and their correspondent Dan Abrams just reported that the U.S.S.C. has agreed to hear the case regarding whether or not Anna Nicole Smith is entitled to have a portion of her deceased 90 year old husband's estate.

The central issue the court will deal with is whether a federal court has more say in these matters versus a probate court.

The case is Vickie Lynn Marshall v. E. Pierce Marshall, 04-1544.

I've got a question.... do any of you think this marriage was ever consumated in the "real" sense?? And wouldn't that have to have happened (as gross a thought as that really is) in order to even make this a true marriage??? But then again......who the hell cares...LOL!!

what the hey, The old codger had money coming out the wazoo and nothing to do with it. Maybe he wanted to finally live out his dream and maybe just maybe he died happy - if you know what I mean.

Maybe it was a marriage of convenience. Each of them were after something.

As for me, I plan to never be that wealthy, so I won't have to worry about it. Wealth can be a tremendous burden. I never feel so free, as when I am flat broke.

Besides, that's when one discovers who his/her TRUE friends are. :larrow:
