You know what is ticking me off?

All of the cable networks airing interviews with officials preceding their names with an "R" or a "D".

This is a freaking disaster, not a political rally or a chance to undermine the opponent. Drop the political crap.

The Storm2k general forum is probably a better place to discuss this.

Suggest we keep to the topics of weather effects, conditions, rescue, information, and avoid meta-criticism of the media, sociology, religion, and general venting for the time being.

That's customary when interviewing elected officials. I don't know why they do it when it's not relevant, but they do. It could be an interview about the World Series or the Tony Awards or whatever, and they'd still have the R and the D. I wouldn't sweat it.
