Johnathan, looking wimpy, being wimpy and at some point during the storm's (Bonnie's) lifetime it may be far from a wimp [however the way it looks now weaker than Charley is expected to get. :)

Chris, one of my brother's names is Chris and he lives in Melbourne, too. 8-)

looking at the past 10-12 frames from this view I can see a slight N/NE movement, however there also seems to be some sort of satellite picture shift in one of those frames. It generally appears to have stopped moving all together. Just a novices opinion :D

Bonnie is just a small swirl, hardly to mention, except for the potential impact she will have on the small area where she will cross the coast.

One of the biggest problems with Bonnie since she formed is the subtropical low that moved from south of Mobile on Saturday to just west of the Mississippi River Delta on Sunday, and then drifted north-northeast to Mobile where it is now.

The low has disrupted the large northeast wind flow that is typical of most tropical systems. Our winds in Baton Rouge have been out of the west and northwest for the past two days.

Yeah that was my point as a comparison to other systems. In the GOM under favorable conditions things can change
