Very well put, Tracy. I am so exhausted from tearing down the office and packing up there and then coming home and doing the same thing. These old bones just can't take much more and the anticipation is really tough. But when it comes to Mother Nature we don't have too much to say.

Stay safe,
Lynn

Wilma dosen't seem to be moving in any discernable direction in the last handfull of sat pics. does this signal any change in direction or just a stall before resuming of prior direction?

she may even go around it or just skim the NE coast.

Hurricanes do this for some unexplained reason. Remember Ivan? Went right around Jamaica at the last second for no reason.

I believe this phenomenon occurs during times of weak/no steering.
It's like they have a mind of their own. I think it involves the eye
moving/staying over an area most conducive to its thriving.

But if there were steering and a stronger ridge it would have barrelled
totally into the Yucatan.

True, it appears more than just a wobble to the N ladies and gentlemen. She may just miss most of the land interaction all together.

I knew there was a reason why she wanted a bigger eye, so she could see where she was going!

the next frame is key. Will she continue wobbling N or go back W.

if the next frame is also N, then maybe she is not going to spend any time over land.

Christy, I think some of us were seeing that but needed more time to observe, that being said, she still could and is predicted to go inland

That would be bad. Talk about reshuffling the deck on the models if this happens....
