Sure, it's interacting with land, but that's actually helping ignite convection in the low-level convergence zone on the north coast of Cuba. It's a long shot, but we may have not seen the last of Chris.
Agreed wthrman13. The remnants of Chris look better than 12 hrs ago. The shearing from that ULL to the east is no longer a factor. It seems to have finally found the COL - is it too late? We shall see. Convection is now over remnant center. The question is will the center stay close enuff to the water to maintain a circulation or perhaps a new center may form.
