What is causing this? It doesnt look like the shear to the NE has anything to do with it.

I can just see the pro-mets laughing at us, watching us trying to figure it out what's happening with the LLC. That's why we're getting no answers to stop this drama. :cheesy:

One explantion was that if Chris did not gain enough lat, then the inflow from the south/Hispaniola would disrupt the system.

Not sure if this is occuring right now, but could be a possiblity.

Looks like convection has crept up and eclipsed the center... and is anyone else noticing the northerly turn in the last few frames, or is it just me?

What on earth are you guys seeing that has you in such a twitter? I'm looking at the IR loop and am not seeing anything suddenly catastrophic. He still looks better than he did this morning.
