This was 93L east of the Windwards by late October.

Invest 95L

And this is 95L.So where was 94L as they aparently jumped from 93L to 95L? I haven't seen it up at both sites of NRL,unless I missed it.

CPC has SOI data going back to 1882 but it's not located in their Niño section but in the monitoring and Index section under the monthly indices.
According to that data, 1933 was basically neutral and 1934 went to a negative SOI in the Fall. That data is based upon the Taihiti vs Darwin SLPs.

Hey Steve,I think your replie was for another thread, :) not for this one as my question here is related to what happened to invest 94L that they jumped from 93L to 95L.

Good question. The last 94L I can find is from 12/9 which became Helene.

Edit - Maybe not. 7th November it looks like. That is the only position update for it though. Which makes it not in this basin, maybe a mistake on the NRL page, who knows.

Interesting P.K about that supposed 94L in that position. But that has to be an error in terms of the position.I was thinking that maybe they were following in an internal way in the office the low that formed off the U.S East Coast in the past week.

I think it may just have been put up as 94L instead of 94E (Which went on to become Rosa) by accident initially and somehow not had the number reset. Might be wrong though.

I think you may be right. It's an error in terms of the designation of the invests and the basin as 94E was Rosa and the position of latitud and longitud of the text that you posted shows it well.
