I wonder if a hurricane has a larger eye, the larger the windfield it will be? Also would the eyewall be larger?

I really am not an authority on this, but at one time Wilma had a tiny eye and a very large windfield of hurricane strength winds. Katrina had an average sized or maybe slightly small eye for the size hurricane she was and she had a very large hurricane force wind field, which helped to contribute to her high and far reaching surge. So I guess my answer would be that the two are not necessarily related in a fashion that one would grow with the other or vice versa.

Nope. Eye size has no relationship with windfield size.
OTOH, it can determine the stability of the inner core of a TC.
