What an Annular storm on Radar would look like

#1 Postby Cyclenall » Thu Sep 04, 2008 1:43 am

I saw this from another board and it got me thinking, what would an annular tropical cyclone (major hurricane) look like on a radar? I don't believe there has ever been one from landmass unless I'm mistaken but recon might have got some data on the on-board radar for few. Any thoughts on what it would appear to look like?

A look at some microwave data from Daniel in 2006 should give you a pretty decent idea.
