What is the difference between a wall cloud and a shelf clou

I guess I always thought they were the same thing.

A wall cloud marks the area of most intense updraft. From a spotter guide I have:

Wall clouds:
Suggest inflow/updraft
Maintain position with respect to rain
Slope upward away from precip. area

Shelf Clouds:
Suggest downdraft/outflow
Move away from rain
Slope downward away from precip. area
