What is the record for landfalling cyclones in the Atlantic

How many systems in one year have made landfall do we need to break the record???

I counted 15 in 2005. I'm sure thats the record. That doesn't include Franklin, Harvey, Ophelia, or Gamma which just missed making landfalls in the Bahamas, Bermuda, North Carolina, and Honduras respectively.

PS: The storms were Arlene, Bret, Cindy, Dennis, Emily, Gert, Jose, Katrina, Rita, Stan, Tammy, Vince, Wilma, Alpha and Beta.
