Why was Hurricane Fefa retired?

#1 Postby HarlequinBoy » Thu Mar 15, 2007 12:45 pm

It peaked at a powerful 120 mph, but had no major impacts to any land areas with the worst being tropical storm force wind gusts to Hawaii.

So why was it retired? =\

I did some research for the Hurricane Fefa article on Wikipedia (located http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hurricane_Fefa ), and after asking a professional meteorologist, they believed it was due to the name meaning something inappropriate in another language, though they weren't sure.
