Question about El Nino

#1 Postby Dynamic » Wed Mar 07, 2007 4:45 pm

Hi, my question is regarding the current effects of El Nino in some Latin-American countries. We already now that that the Pacific has no Nino conditions actually or these conditions decrease significantly, but I saw in the TV news that countries like Bolivia are having terrible floods due to "the Nino conditions” currently.

If the Nino conditions were decrease or disappear, why the TV News and Newspapers continue talking about the Nino conditions and their current terrible effects on those countries like Bolivia?

Thanks! (sorry for any mistake, English is not my first language)

There is usually a lag between the end of a Nino and the end of its associated conditions.
