Newsletter?

#1 Postby mike01205 » Sun Mar 09, 2003 10:47 pm

I don't know your status on a newsletter, but before weatherforums shut down I was going to start a newsletter. I lined up Huffwx, Allexpert Mike, Rob22 and Weathergymnast. I don't know if you are interested in having them contribute, but if you are you can let me know. Anything I can do to help the site just let me know.

They have one here Mike...most of the Admins and Mods do most of the contributing though. I'm sure one of the Admins will get back to ya on this.

Sounds fantastic to me! :D

Although I don't have any extra time to spare to be on the newsletter team, I still look forward to seeing how it turns out! :) WxChat.com has a great newsletter now going, also! :) Storm2K and WxChat recently affiliated in a partnership, also! :)

Eric :)

Mike,

I am the editor of Storm2k newlsetter. We produce the newsletter once a month - go on the home page and view the past issues to get an idea of our format. I would love to have volunteers help. POJO and STORMCRAZY I will PM or email you both with assignments for this March's issue.

If anyone has suggestions or ideas - please PM me or send me an email at ticka1@storm2k.org.

Mike - I will send you and Email or PM with the newsletter ideas.

Thanks for asking.

Ceye,

I will see what I can assign you for the March newsletter. Let me review my outline and I'll send you a PM later today.

Thanks for volunteering - always makes my job easier.

Thanks,

Actually...if I DO get some opportunities this Spring to storm chase...I'd love to have a dedicated column for each month and devote it to my travels and scenes during my travels as well. I always keep a log or a journal everyday as it is, and I'm sure people would love to see a day by day, play by play listing of events over the course. Stay tuned!
