That would be great!!! So far sounds like we are looking at mid to late May :D

That would be perfect! Would it be a weekend? I am planning on moving to Talahassee so it would be cool to meet my fellow neighbors on the gulf coast.

Yep, we are looking at a Saturday :D

Ok well i'll keep looking up here for what the date will be. So far you can count me in but, I will let you know closer to the time if it is a for sure thing. This is great that s2k is doing this because, it is a chance for everyone to become tight knit and really good friends.

>>Since no one has really thrown up a date yet...how about Saturday, May 20, or Saturday, May 27?

I gotta go to Austin, TX for Memorial Day Weekend. I'm not sure if that's the 20th or the 27th, but I'm out that one weekend. It's all good if people want to do it on that holiday weekend, and I'll try to keep next year open if we do it again.

Linda? I'm thinking more of a sit down and chat type deal. We could eat and drink, or we could just drink :D

I like that idea also. The zoo could be a good idea if done correctly, but I don't think I'd like walking the zoo when trying to meet fellow S2K members.

An idea....what if someone reserved one of the pavilions on the Lakefront in New Orleans and we had a picnic or something. Either we could all pitch in and get someone to cater it, someone could barbeque for everyone, or we each could bring out own food and beverages. The only problem though is we would have to hope for nice weather.

Hmmmm, I haven't been out that way in a while - have you? How are the pavilions these days?

Oh yea....I don't know. I haven't been out there in a few months. I'll be going to Covington tomorrow so on the way back I'll ride through and check them out.
