Wow... looks like a runaway. It was a tough choice again this month. Glad to see more than 5.

There are no guidelines for Storm2K Member of the Month? It would make sense that it was at least our participation on the board.
I was never sure our participation in the Storm2K Chatroom mattered. Was I the only one?
So, our participation in the Storm2K chatroom and any contribution (including what is typed in TeamSpeak) are also terms for this "award"?

Thanks to everyone up there (and those who aren't) who provided invaluable information during a time when many people were threatened by major hurricanes. Thanks also to all the staff who gave their time to help moderate the board and tend to other issues when it was so crazy around here. Also, thanks to all the great members here for making storm2k rock!!

Yoda - I think Annette meant it was an eenie/meenie/moe kind of vote, all were excellent candidates and it was like choosing from an equal lineup. I don't know....maybe I'm wrong, but I just wanted to speak up for you Annette - you are not losing your mind here!!!
Tom - since our last MOTM contest, the tropics exploded. And so did the chat room. Prior to probably Hurricane Bonnie and then so quickly Charley, I hadn't frequented the chat room much. Suddenly over a 1 or 2 week period, even I went there daily, many times thru out the day. As you well know, it was very active during this period, sometimes as many as 100 people were in there. The chat room was a very useful tool for preparing folks caught in harm's way, alerting others to stay on guard and also to just release tension. You live in Florida, so I'm hoping you agree with that last sentence. That said, I think we need to look at THIS MOTM contest a little differently. I was hoping to see nominees who were very present and helpful during the height of this tropical activity. And I'm not disappointed - great group of folks to choose from.
