Hey.... PUT ME DOWN!... I'm bringin' a grad student of mine from Notre Dame, as well as two more who I've taught and are now husband and wife... (feels a twinge of arthritis!)... but they both want to arrive... we'll probably not make the scene till later; but I'll keep in touch with Cindy to see where you are when we arrive...

Aimee mentioned bringing one of her friends (girl) but I don't know if she found someone or not, but retta717 is READY to PARTY! Oh yea, she is a member, just doesn't post, maybe 2...hehehehe...she is afraid she is going to get addicted!

Good morning everyone, sitting here waiting for the coffee to brew, Kathy is still sleeping. We had a really nice evening went for a walk in the rain had dinner at the Red Fish Grill, came back to the hotel did some chatting in the chatroom. Can't wait to meet all of you, be safe getting here.....

Trying to get Aimee in gear....geeshhhhhhhhhhhh 22 year olds!!!! Went over to her trailer she is sitting looking at the MySpace on the internet...told her to get her drawers in a bag!

Have fun! You are all so lucky! I wish I could of made this one! I would do it in a heartbeat if I did not have to work until 9 p.m. tonight and had the money to go. I hate being so broke all the time. Post lots of pictures! I know skysummit will.

I met Mary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Was heading out to get some ice and saw them going into their room (i got the hotel to put her near us). They shut the door by the time i got there and there i was hollering her name and knocking on the door! Only me!!!!! :lol:

Linda just called me from NOLA..talked to her, cajunmama, msrobi911, sunny, and senorpepr. They all were having a great time and I seriously doubt any of them will remember talking to me :lol:

Bre went to bed with a headache.

We lost Jack. Steve thanks for the Hurricanes. Sunny was sick and left early. LSU danced the night away. Linda still has the hots for the guitar player at the Krazy Korner Bar.

Sky and Trish disappeared sometime after Krazy Korner.

CajunMama and myself came back to the room....our feet hurt. We left the "kids" still out on Bourbon Street.

A2K where the He!! did you go??????

OMG... What a night! Sorry... just gettin' up ... no WAY I was gonna check this place when I finally got in for sleep (somewhere around 5:30 AM)... and right now nursing both a hangover and my second cup of BLACK java. Well, I kind'a told Cindy that I was goin' to be dependent on my former students for a little "financial" aid in getting the drinks... so when we left Razoos and were in the street, I was right there with ya.... and then when we started walking up Bourbon, I was there too... but suddenly, the big one I brought (Smitty) and his wife veered into the Frat House, and I turned around to call for someone...and jeeeez, couldn't see anyone from the group anymore. I wasn't about to get lost in that crowd, so I figured I'd talk 'em into trying to find my "weather" friends.

Turns out Smitty has a LOT of connections down there, and this was a place for lots of "free" drinks that kept on coming. We wound up on the upstairs balcony which was fun, and then, looking out onto the street, I kept scanning, and scanning the crowd looking for anyone I could recognize; but by this time my vision wasn't what it had been several hours earlier! We WERE right across from the Royal Sonesta, which had me thinking someone might pass... but after a while, (when they started bringing shots)... well it all sort of turns into a blur. Thank God for Adrienna, (Smitty's wife) as they decided that since I had to drive home they'd take a while to caffeinate me a little... then follow me at least to the parish line, wherefrom THEY continued back to their usual haunt-- Quills. I dropped Billy off at his house (he was still worried that his GF who wouldn't come would be mad because he did.)... Okay I'm ramblin!.... but it was quite a night all things considered... For the Record it was A2K + 4.... I brought Smitty, (The BIG guy with the red whiskers and his wife Adrienna, Henry (Whose real name is Chris--another story--enjoying a last few weeks of freedom as he ties the knot with his gal in Paducah in 3 weeks--yeah I'll be Kentucky bound by then) Billy, whom most of you met in the patio, and.... well me. So that was 5 just in my own personal entourage

Sorry we got separated; but sometimes that does happen, and we WERE on the balcony in the Frat house (got a T-shirt to prove it!) Wish I could have brought MY camera b/c there were some unbelievalbe sights..ROFL....

Also sorry you were so sick, Sunny... BTDT...hope you're feeling better. I tried calling you when we first separated from the group, but after 3 rings I just disconnected b/c the one thing I didn't wanna do was wake you up if you were sleeping off that sickness.

All in all, I'd have to say it was quite a night...once again lots of faces I can now put on those sn's and avatars. You're a GREAT bunch!
