Suggestion for a new forum in weather...

#1 Postby Stormsfury » Sun May 25, 2003 11:15 pm

Climatic Data ... (like the Backyard Observations at TWC) ...

I have kept my backyard climatological data alive in a thread at TWC but have considered continuing that thread over here instead, but I didn't want to clutter the USA Weather thread with that ...

I'm not exactly sure who else might be interested in posting their own observations and climatic summaries as well but since I'm uncertain of the future of the TWC messageboards, I would like to post my climate summary here and maybe on my website ...

Anyways, just a suggestion.

I like the idea Stormsfury. I agree that it could really clutter up the USA weather forum with "mundane" reports if it weren't seperate and it would be interesting to see everyones conditions.

I would love to post my own personal daily temperatures (at least)... but I have no way of knowing when my daily high and daily low temperatures are reached each day with my current two units

They are next to each other on my bookcase; they have remote units outside. One is against the house that reads to warm; a few degrees warmer than the one that has a metal stand.

This is a awesome idea. It would be easy for me since I could post the main display of my weather station. This shows conditions, high and low temp, wind, high wind gust, and about 50 other things.
