Back online at last!

Just got power at the office 10 minutes ago.

I've been hearing the reports that they've evaluated Wilma as a Cat 1 in Dade and Broward, and I won't argue with that but only say this was that most hellacious Cat 1 I could imagine. My neighborhood alone had at least a dozen fairly solid power poles snapped in two like twigs five to ten feet up. That's one heck of a Cat 1.

Anyway ... gotta get to work powering up the rest of the computers. :D

Good to see you back man...I agree with your Observations...I agree the 1st 1/2 may have been a Cat 1 but when that West wall was exiting MC it tore the county a new A-hole...We had gusts well over 100 MPH

welcome back x-y-no.

hey heard more from my family down there---one uncle still has no power though the block south of him does...a pole came down. He finally decided to put the generator on. My grandparents lost power and one window but are otherwise fine.

They said they were thankful Wilma blew through so quick. Damage would have been worse had it been a slow mover. They are mostly just inconvienenced. Didn't even lose any of their trees.
