I am going do my part-going volunteer at Houma Civic Center

I just simply can't sit around and do nothing. It is just not my nature. Lots of refugees from New Orleans are staying at the Houma Civic Center. So, I am going volunteer sometime this week. I got to work tomorrow, so I won't be able to go tomorrow. Terrebonne Parish is still under a curfew. But, as soon as I find out my schedule for work and find out what day I have off work, I am going. My dad and I are also going to the MS coast soon and going help out.

So very glad to hear this (THIS is what is needed) and I only wish I could join you (time, distance, money to get there the negative factor - I'm encouraging my son to go, I hope he can).
I hope and pray for your very best in strength - emotional, spiritual and physical, in your efforts. And your Dad too. Thank you.

Well, this is my area. Houma being only a 15 minute drive away. New Orleans being barely an hour drive away. And MS coast being only a 2 hour drive away. I just feel like it is my duty to help.
