I am truly afraid to see the figures from all over once they are thru with the recovery effort. This country will be in mourning for a long time.

Thats what it says...I kind of believe it..when they talked about a really poor area..with 3000 people...and that whole area was destroyed..and most of those people couldnt escape

I forgot what I was watching they we're tlaking about a large section of the poor lived right next to the beach..and most likely didnt get out..and that whole area is gone ;(

oh my gosh, 1000 dead just in Biloxi. If this turns out to be accurate i fear some of these 10-20K death toll #s being floated around will be correct. I need to go check my calendar to see if this is really 2005 and whether or not i somehow have woken up in a third world country :cry:
