MS13 is EVERYWHERE. Very, very scary gang. But there is a major international crackdown going on....hopefully it will help.

NOPD is on top of it. Supt. Reilly was asked about this on the news a few weeks ago.

I saw that, as well as the FBI.

If you have cable, the National Geographic Channel has a documentary on MS13 . . .it might re-air sometime soon. Lisa Ling did it, it was very good.

I know, way off topic.

or south mississippi...

Or Southeast Texas! We have a huge shortage of workers. Not upset about it, it's just crazy. Some businesses will never be back.

Last night on WLOX, they aired their "Sunday Night Call In Program" where the issue discussed was HOUSING. One of the major issues facing this area - and many others along the NGOM - is the shortage of workers, both skilled and unskilled, to rebuild 75,000 homes. But perhaps more importantly is (once the rebuilding actually starts in earnest) where will all those "skilled" laborers live?

Just here in coastal MS, it's estimated that 15,000+ workers are STILL needed just to get the rebuilding started. Question remains - where they gonna live!!!??? There is not a vacant apartment ANYWHERE state-line to state-line, and virtually every hotel & motel room, trailer park, campground, and RV site that still exists is already completely booked and occupied well into the distant future.

No doubt, times is surely gonna be interesting around these parts for a long time to come...

Katrina cough----yeah, me too. I am really tired of it and wish they would find the true cause. My 2 y/o grandson has had it for what seems like forever.
