SG you could not have said any better. I feel a page has turned in my life nd my innocence has been lost when it comes to the tropics. A renewed respect has been brought to the forefront. A big part is being a parent. When you look at through a child's eye its very scary to feel what they see when their world is destroyed. I fear this upcoming season could bring another major hurricane to the Upper TX Coast.

I hope everyone saw my tribute I posted recently. It was very healing for me.

Gale, I've always dreaded these things. I keep my mouth shut now, but I'll never understand how anyone could want these things to make landfall. They're ruinous.

Please re-read my post. I never wanted them to make landfall, but yeah, I did enjoy tracking them, watching them from afar.

Another great tribute. Brings me to tears to see it all again. I pray no one will have to endure this again, this season.

And I never implied that you *did* want them to make landfall.
